About us

Salt Publishing is an independent literary publisher based in Cromer, Norfolk, founded in 1999. We publish award-winning literary fiction, historical fiction, and genre fiction rooted in the Gothic, the eerie, and folk horror – distinctive novels by established and emerging writers from across the UK and beyond. Our books are distributed nationally through Macmillan Distribution and are available from independent bookshops, Waterstones, and online retailers.
