Christopher Hamilton-Emery

Christopher Hamilton-Emery

A poet and writer, Christopher has worked in publishing for over thirty years. Chris worked for the GM Buses, the British Council, Cambridge University Press, Cavendish Publishing and Polity Press, before founding Salt. He runs a design consultancy, The Cover Factory, and was formerly the Director of Operations and Director of Development for the national shrine at Walsingham. His latest book is Modern Fog (Arc Publications, 2024).

Jennifer Hamilton-Emery

Jennifer Hamilton-Emery

Formerly General Manager of Adult Mental Health Services, Suffolk Mental Health Trust. Jennifer spent twenty years working in senior management in the NHS. She has an MA in Culture and Modernity and a continuing research interest in discourse analysis. She also runs a CBT hypnotherapy business, Re:New Hypnosis. She is a founding director of Salt.


Kirsty Hamilton

Kirsty Hamilton-Emery

Kirsty graduated with a first in Journalism Studies from the University of Sheffield in 2021. She works in the newspaper industry and lives in Sheffield.

Rights Director

German by birth, Deborah speaks French and English and holds Master degrees in Comparative Literature and Publishing. She has worked for more than 25 years in publishing in Germany, England and France, as editor and editorial director as well as agent. Discover more.
