Michèle Roberts is a poet, novelist and broadcaster. She has been shortlisted for the Booker prize and is a winner of the WH Smith Literary award. A fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, she is also a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Born in Hertfordshire to a French mother and English father, Roberts now divides her time between London and Mayenne, France.
