Katy is Lecturer in English and course leader for Creative & Professional Writing at Anglia Polytechnic University in Cambridge. She is writing a book on astronomy, sex and friendship in the 1920s, focusing on William Empson and Arthur Eddington. Katy writes poetry and curates experimental poetry events in Cambridge; she also convenes the Cambridge Science & Literature Reading Group and is Communications Officer for History of Science at the BA Festival of Science.
