Eleanor Cooke began to write poetry professionally when the youngest of her four children was two and the eldest seventeen. It wasn’t long before she was widely published, and Seren invited her to submit the first of her collections. Since then she has published four more, with a variety of publishers including Cape. She has worked as a lecturer in Creative Writing and as an editor, and has written for radio and the stage.
