Annie Finch is the author or editor of fifteen books of poetry, translation, and criticism including Eve (1997), Calendars (2003),The Encyclopedia of Scotland (2004), The Complete Poems of Louise Labé (2004), The Body of Poetry (2005), and Among the Goddesses: An Epic (2009). Her music, art, and theater collaborations include the opera Marina (American Opera Projects, 2003). She has performed her poetry across the U.S. and in England, France, Greece, Ireland, and Spain. In 2009 she was awarded the Robert Fitzgerald Prosody Award. She lives on the Maine coast where she directs Stonecoast, the low-residency MFA program in creative writing at the University of Southern Maine.
