Nina Rapi coming to Ride the Word

Nina Rapi is a playwright and short story writer. Her plays & monologues include: Lovers, Gielgud Theatre, West End Shorts Season; the award-winning Angelstate; Edgewise, Gate Theatre (staged reading); Josie’s Restrooms, ICA; the award-winning Ithaka. Her first collection of short stories Nine Traces in a Circle was recently published in Greece. She is currently writing her new collection of stories Out Where? funded by the Arts Council. N.R. is also the editor of BRAND Literary Magazine.

Nicholas Murray and Rack Press poets

A bite-sized selection of Rack Poets will be appearing at a "Ride the Word" event at Holborn Library on 18 February. Publisher Nicholas Murray will occupy a 20-minute slot to say a few words about the Press and read from his own work alongside some other Rack Press poets.

Elizabeth Baines reads at Ride the Word VI

Elizabeth Baines' collection of short stories Balancing on the Edge of the World was published by Salt in October 2007. She is currently taking it on a tour of the blogs as part of the Salt Cyclone virtual book tour programme http://saltpublishing.com/cyclone/?p=220.
A new novel, Too Many Magpies, will come from Salt in October 2009.
